Between the years of 1763-1776 the colonists in the original 13 colonies were unfairly taxed by the British Parliament. The anger that the colonists held against King George and Parliament did not go unheard as they protested many of the acts and also started to created many political organizations such as the Sons Of Liberty/The Continental Congress. Thought these years the time in 1770 the Boston Massacre occurred where a group of "Red Coats" fired unto a group of angry citizens. By the time of 1774-1775 the colonists had enough and took action to fight for the release of a country that is miles and miles away from them. The time came for them on April 19, 1775 at the Battle Of Lexington and Concord that began The Revolutionary War, The Fight To Independence.
